It’s just black – it’s an oil based paint and those come in black or white – you can get the paint colored but then you have to buy a gallon and you will only use a fraction of that gallon. In fact I used very little of the quart of black paint – I have enough left over to do 20 more bathrooms!

Thank you, the oil based paint makes them look like a professional job – and helps with wear and tear.

Living in Texas is the opposite of celebrating the life of a teacher.

A teacher celebrates June, July and August. Texans celebrate any of the other nine months.

I’ll be sure to send a picture of me poolside in November, December and possibly January to my friends in Chicago, Minneapolis and Boston.

I watched this video on Maine Coon’s the talkative aspect is a definite characteristic – she is VERY talkative – my roomate’s Maine Coon is only talkative when she wants food – which is often enough.

I love her/him! All of my kitties (pretty much) have been Main Coons {side note: I love how they have the “M” on their forehead fur!} and I have adored each one. They have all been one part dog, one part crazy, and awesome. Enjoy the kitty.

Ps. All of ours have been very ‘talkative’ if you will…and I don’t mean that in the crazy cat lady way. Almost like they just seem to think we can understand their ‘mow’s, buuut we can’t.

Here are some winners.

1. Cashew Tamari – just like Mother’s Cafe
-for about 3 T of canola oil put 1 t of tamari (which is a soy sauce, much more rich and flavorful than your run of the mill soy sauce)
-crush some cashews – voila

2. a little canola oil, a little lime, a little bit of spike seasoning (or other all purpose seasoning) – that’s it. This one was especially good with avocado in the salad

Dianne – you SO would run around stealing plants! You can train your kid to do that when he’s older and kids are small and look innocent so it’s great, good idea huh. Actually that smallest one is a cutting – and I must be doing something wrong because its 3 years old and still tiny – it’s stunted

craigslist is also a great resource for free plants and planters. i like how you varied the pots here. having the cheaper planter amongst the more expensive ones gives an established and eclectic look and i dont notice the “cheapness” at all
